We're scheduled, and you just received a calendar invite!

What is The Front Row Podcast?

Front Row Podcasts aims to help Southeast Asians better understand the coming Asian Century (from a Singaporean perspective).

I talk to thought leaders like you who have hard-won insights worth sharing.

Past guests include policy leaders like Kishore Mahbubani, Chan Heng Chee, business leaders like Jeremy Tan and Kenneth Chan, and authors like Irene Ng and Tan Siok Sun.

We think of the show as an intellectual appetizer , a conversational education, if you will. In a sense, we look at our episodes as the highlight reel of your best ideas. I do the hard work of immersing in your intellectual world and preparing the questions so that your ideas can shine.

Here is a sample just to whet your appetite ;)

Making A Superb Episode

💡
Here are some pointers on how we can make this episode stand out.

We truly try to provide listeners with an insightful episode that will help them better understand the world. (This is why we wanted you on the show!)

Here are three things I have learnt that hooks the listener in:

1) Use Anecdotes in Spades

Listeners love to hear stories and examples to illustrate a point.

The best stories are the ones that you personally love.

(Even better, if you can use data to back it up!)

2) Share something novel

You likely do a lot of interviews.

This interview will be a great introduction (and nudge) for people to listen to MORE of your interviews.

To make that experience great, try to find something new to share in this interview that you haven't shared much (or ever) before.

3) You are the Yoda

You're on the show because you've earned some hard-won insight.

I will do my best to play the role of the student.

Please don't be afraid to share what you truly think!
